From April 19, 2019 the Digital Art Center Artplay Media presents its premiere, the immersive exhibition "Michelangelo. The Sistine chapel", in which the famous frescoes of the Sistine chapel — ceiling painting and "the Last judgment" —come to life on giant screens.

The project is dedicated to the greatest Creator of the Renaissance — Michelangelo Buonarroti, who during his lifetime was called Il Divino ("Divine") and whose influence on art can be traced to this day. His genius was manifested in sculpture, painting, architecture and even poetry, but one of the most impressive creations of the master is the painting of the Sistine chapel in the Vatican, depicting the entire path that according to the Bible, humanity must pass — from the Creation of the world to the Last judgment. The ceiling painting of the chapel occupies more than 500 square meters and contains about 300 figures. At its center are nine scenes from the old Testament, divided into three groups: the creation of the Earth by God; the creation of the human race and its fall; the essence of humanity in the person of Noah and his family. On the vaults of the chapel, Michelangelo creates his own picture of the world: his frescoes are a hymn to physical and spiritual beauty, the assertion of the boundless creative possibilities of God and man created in his likeness. The most famous of the frescoes of the chapel — the Creation of Adam. The counter movement of two hands — the Man and the God — is an image that became a symbol of the Renaissance. Due to its uniqueness, this symbol is still present in popular culture and even advertising.

Every day the Sistine chapel is visited by up to ten thousand people. A huge number of visitors and the height at which the frescoes are located, do not fully appreciate the work of the great master. Visitors of the exhibition "Michelangelo. Sistine chapel" will be a unique opportunity to see the frescoes in great detail, feeling the scale of the Titanic work of Michelangelo. Even those who have seen the originals in the Vatican will not be disappointed.

The images of Michelangelo's brush revived on huge screens in combination with Cinema360 technology and accompanied by the brilliant music of Bach, Handel, Mozart are a bright emotional show that will immerse you in the world of the genius of Michelangelo, and for those who are well familiar with the work of the master, will open new unexpected interpretations of his great works.
